Professor Wang Honghong of our School was Elected as Fellow of American Academy of Nursing

According to the newest addition of 2019 Class of Academy Fellows announced by the American Academy of Nursing recently, Professor Wang Honghong from Xiangya School of Nursing of Central South University was elected as Fellow of  American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) in recognition of her great contributions to the fields of AIDS prevention, nursing and nursing education.

Founded in 1973, the American Academy of Nursing aimed at attracting global talents with relevant nursing knowledge to contribute to human health by playing a leading role in the development of nursing disciplines and the formulation and implementation of health care policies. By the year of 2019, less than 10 people have been elected as FAAN in mainland China.

Professor Wang Honghong will be honored at the Annual International Conference of  the American Academy of Nursing to be held in Washington in October 2019. After that, Professor Wang Honghong could attend academic conferences with the official title as FAAN, devoting herself into the research and practice of global health care.
