As the Representative of Central South University, Tang Yao, A 2016 Undergraduate of Our University, Participated in the First UN Job Fair

In order to further promote talent training in international organizations, set up a dialogue platform between Chinese universities and international organizations, and provide face-to-face communication opportunities for Chinese youth and international organizations, China Scholarship Council held the Beijing session of first UN job fair at Peking University from October 25 to 27, 2019.


Nearly 40 representatives from 24 international organizations, including UNESCO, ILO, WHO, UNICEF, UN Women and ITU, were invited to the event.


Central South University actively responded to the call of China Scholarship Council and selected students. Tang Yao, a 2016 undergraduate of Central South University, stood out from more than 60 candidates and became one of only four students to participate in the activity at Peking University.

During the activity, Tang Yao actively spent the efforts and made achievements representing Xiangya nursing students in the field of health promotion to officials of WHO, UNAIDS and other international organizations, and won their unanimous recognition.


Our school will continue to promote the training of talents in international organizations, encourage and guide students to have a long-term vision of the world. We will strive to train excellent students with international vision, Chinese feelings and professional excellence, so that they can devote themselves to global health governance. We will train nursing students with global competence and speak for Chinese Nursing on the international stage.
