Mercy Pindani, Dean of Kamuzu School of Nursing, University of Malawi, and Diana Jere, Dean of Kamuzu School of Nursing Came to Visit Our School

Associate Professor Mercy Nenani Pindani, President of Kamuzu School of Nursing at University of Malawi and Associate Professor Diana Linda Jere, Dean of Kamuzu School of Nursing, visited Xiangya Nursing School of Central South University at 10 am on December 3, 2018. Dean Tang Siyuan, Deputy Dean Wang Honghong, Deputy Dean Li Xianhong, Teacher Liu Zina and students from Malawi attended the meeting.


The meeting was hosted by Deputy Dean Wang Honghong. Dean Tang Siyuan gave a welcome speech. He represented the school to welcome the University of Malawi guests, introduced Xiangya nursing school, actively responded to an "area" initiative in 2015 and successfully carried out the "senior master of nursing and medical technology projects in developing countries", the project for developing countries to develop senior nursing home after acted as an important role. Associate Professor Mercy Nenani Pindani and Associate Professor Diana Linda Jere introduced the research situation of Kamuzu Nursing School.


The two sides had a harmonious communication atmosphere and both expected to have further cooperation in personnel training, scientific research, academic exchanges and other aspects through this meeting.

Mercy Nenani Pindani, President of Kamuzu Nursing Schoo, and Diana Linda Jere, Dean of Kamuzu Nursing School will pay a 7-day visit to our school. The visit will include exchanges between the two nursing schools. They will give academic lectures, visit Shailing Community Health Service Center, the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, and have negotiations with the International Exchange and Cooperation Department.
