Recently, in response to the deferred classes of national universities due to the COVID-19 and to implement "classes stop, but teaching doesn’t stop; classes stop, but learning doesn’t stop," the Ministry of Education required national universities during COVID-19 to make full use of their high quality online courses during the epidemic prevention and control of teaching resources, to take the government leading, subject of colleges and universities, social participation, joint implementation and security during the epidemic prevention and control of online teaching. Among them, Medical Nursing, led by Professor Zhang Jingping, was recommended by the "Fall in Love with Courses" website of MOOC in Chinese universities.

Led by Professor Zhang Jingping, Professor Wang Xiuhua, Associate Professor Guo Jia, Lecturer Mao Ting, the Internal Medicine Nursing was launched on December 25, 2018, in "the Chinese university MOOC” platform (https://www.icourse163.org/course/CSU-1003513005), open for the learners. This is the fourth session, and the number of students has been the most in the country.

Since the outbreak began, in order to fulfil our support in fighting the epidemic and supporting the society, curriculum team decided to give China university MOOC classes 2 weeks in advance, online, while on February 11 providing the online COVID-19 micro videos for everybody to learn, including COVID-19 and Its Nursing led by Associate Professor Guo Jia and Coping of COVID-19 Outbreak lectured by Professor Zhang Jingping. This has benefited more medical school students and first-line nurses, helping them to have access to coronavirus pneumonia system science and high-level digital curriculum education without leaving home.
