Affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, the International Class for Master’s Degree Education in Nursing, jointly held by Central South University and the University of California, San Francisco, USA (hereinafter referred to as the “International Class”), conducted online teaching for one semester from March 8 to July 20.
During the epidemic, college leadership has attached great importance to the online teaching and made careful organization and specific arrangements. Teachers from both sides have carried out specific teaching work with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism. Teachers from the University of California overcame the inconvenience caused by the time difference, and teachers from the Central South University overcame the heavy workload and stuck to the online teaching post from beginning to end, thus ensuring the smooth progress of online teaching. The courses, such as Evidence-based Nursing, Nursing Leadership and Management, Community Nursing and International English, are broadcast live on Zoom platform. Teachers have provided students with PPT, video and other materials, organized students to answer questions online and discuss in groups, which achieve good teacher-student interaction.
