On September 26, the Second Nursing Discipline 2020 Working Meeting of Medical Field Working Committee of Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Innovation Alliance was successfully held in Chengdu. The conference was hosted by the nursing discipline group leader unit (Xiangya School of Nursing, Central South University), and co-organized by Chengdu Taimeng Software Co., Ltd. as a technical support unit.

The meeting was held around the two themes of  “alliance work” and “experience exchange on the preparation of virtual simulation experiment teaching project”. In order to effectively promote the work of nursing discipline group, give full play to the guiding role of teachers and the technical support role of enterprises, and strengthen the construction of virtual simulation experimental teaching project and virtual simulation platform, all colleges and universities have successively shared the implementation of the project, as well as experience and thinking, so as to provide reference suggestions for the construction of virtual simulation experimental teaching project in other colleges and universities.

The integration of virtual simulation technology into experimental teaching is one of the development trends of nursing teaching. It plays an important role in the reform and construction of experimental teaching under the goal of “double first-class construction” to further improve the teaching quality of nursing discipline, mobilize the enthusiasm of experimental teachers to participate in teaching and research, and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into experimental projects.
