On the morning of December 09, 2020, Xiangya Center for Evidence-Based Practice & Healthcare Innovation (Xiangya Center for Evidence-Based Practice & Healthcare Innovation: A Joanna Briggs Institute Affiliated Group, hereinafter referred to as the JBI Xiangya Center) held its first anniversary working meeting in Conference Room 714 of Xiangya Nursing School. Professor Maritta, Vice-President Li Xianhong, Director of Nursing Department of Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Yue Liqing, Director of Nursing Department of Xiangya Third Hospital, Li Xuying, Director of Nursing Department of Affiliated Tumor Hospital, Guo Jia, Executive Director of JBI Xiangya Sub-Center, Sun Mei, Wang Yao, Liu Minhui, Chen Qirong, Huang Chongmei, Chen Jiarui, Huang Xiaoting, Xiong Yang of Xiangya Hospital, Xu Xianghua, Wang Wenli of Xiangya Second Hospital, Tan Simin of Xiangya Third Hospital, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Guo Jia.

Tang, speaking on behalf of Xiangya Nursing School, affirmed the work of JBI Xiangya Sub-Center in 2020 and looked forward to its development in 2021. Guo Jia made a detailed report on the work of JBI Xiangya Branch Center in 2020. Reviewing the establishment and growth of the Center, she focused on the work that the Center had completed in the year, such as evidence-based training, cooperation, and paper publishing.

Then the experts studied and discussed the development plan of the JBI Xiangya sub-center in 2021. After in-depth exchanges and warm discussions, the experts determined the evaluation tasks of each system, proposed to increase two hospitals for systematic evaluation training, and would increase the follow-up to the hospitals for systematic evaluation paper writing and submission. In addition, the meeting also determined that the JBI Xiangya Sub-Center hosted the gLOCAL Solution Room meeting in 2021, and discussed in detail the agenda and specific aspects of the gLOCAL Solution Room held from 21 to 22 May 2021.

Tang Siyuan hopes that with the joint efforts of all the experts and young teachers, JBI Xiangya Branch Center will achieve more and higher quality scientific research outputs, and continue to make efforts to expand the influence of Xiangya Nursing discipline in the global scope.
