Healthy-CSU


The Health Education Base for College Students of Central South University (abbreviation: Healthy-CSU) was established in 2015. It relies on the Health Care Research Center of Central South University (National Base of Social Science popularization) to give full play to the advantages of the "Double First-Class A+" in nursing discipline. It is guided by the Party Committee of Xiangya School of Nursing and managed by the school, is a national social science popularization base and a member unit of the China Medical We-Media Alliance. Its first aid, AIDS prevention and health knowledge popularization service projects have been approved by the AIDS Prevention Fund Project of China STD and AIDS Prevention Association, the ideological and moral quality improvement project for college students in Hunan Province, and the moral education practice project for college students. At present, Healthy-CSU has established a development pattern of "taking science lectures as the core, supplemented by health micro-classes, and featuring first aid and AIDS prevention training", forming a good atmosphere of "caring for health, paying attention to health knowledge, and caring for others". It aims to strengthen the health awareness of college students and even the general public, and provides a public learning platform for teachers, students and the general public to exchange health knowledge. There are 44 student cadres in the base.

The base has carried out a series of activities such as campus publicity, peer psychological mutual assistance, lectures, and AIDS prevention activities, benefiting more than 30,000 people; a series of activities of "Healthy-CSU public welfare line" were held outside the school to serve the public. It gave primary first aid training to the police brigade, subway group, airline company and other transportation units in Changsha which benefited more than 10,000 people in total.
