Teacher Gong Ni has been a registered nurse since 2000 and a specialized nurse since 2005 in the field of surgical nursing and health administration. After her clinical career in surgical services, she has been engaged in developing user-centered technological solutions and testing their effectiveness in a variety of treatment settings. She has her expertise in evidence-based research, practice development and teaching. Teacher Gong is an international therapist after wound, and national second-class health manager, she is the member of rehabilitation branch of Chinese Geriatrics Society and the vice-chairman of Tumor Whole Course Management Professional Committee of Hunan Health Management Society , she is also the deputy director of Youth Study Group of Geriatric Professional Committee of Hunan Nursing Society ,the head nurse of surgical section in XiangYa Third Hospital of the Central South University and the leader of nutrition nursing group in XiangYa Third Hospital. Teacher Gong has long been engaged in research on surgical care, elderly care and chronic disease management. Teacher Gong has published more than 20 academic papers. She has supervised 4 research projects funded by funds at provincial and ministerial level and departmental and bureau level. Teacher Gong is one of the members of the editorial books and has applied for and participated in more than 10 patents. Teacher Gong has also won many awards of national and Hunan Provincial Innovation and Invention Competitions, she won the third prize of New Medical Technology Achievement Award of the Central South University.
