BIO
XianghuaXu has been a specialized nursein the field of oncology nursing since 2008. She is the master supervisor at the Xiangya Nursing School of Central South University. She is the deputy director of the Health Service Center in the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University. Dr. Xu has long been engaged in cancer care and psychological nursingresearch. She has committed to China's end-stage cancer patients to develop innovative care plan to reduce patient discomfort, improve the quality of life, so that they can comfort and dignity through the last stage of life. Dr. Xu is one of Chinese trainees of the Leadership for Change (LFC) Program of held by the Chinese Nursing Association and the International Nurses Association. She was the visiting scholar at the Ottawa University, Canada. Dr. Xu has published over 20 academic papers and spoken at more than 20 academic conferences. He has supervised 7 national and provincial research projects in China.She is a member of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC), the Young Member of Nursing Education Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, the Vice Director of Clinical Nursing Psychology Committee of Hunan psychological counselor association, the Vice Director of Burn and Plastic Surgery Committee of Hunan NursingAssociation. She now serves as a young editor of General Medicine of China and Anti-Tumor Pharmacy. She is the reviewer of the Journal of Nursing and Contemporary Nurses.
