BIO


Li Xuying, Ph.D, master tutor, chief nurse, is currently the director of nursing department in Hunan Cancer Hospital, is an outstanding nursing worker of China Nursing Association. She has served as vice chairman of intravenous infusion Committee of Chinese Nursing Association. In 2007, she participated in the establishment of IV-team of Hunan Cancer Hospital, and served as the team leader of IV-team. She was fully responsible for the quality management of hospital vascular channels. Under her leadership, the technology of intravenous therapy has formed a standardized and professional management model, meanwhile an independent outpatient departmentand for professional care for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) was built rapidly and lots of clinical nurse specialist for intravenous therapy were cultivated. She edited 8 monographs, participated in more than 10 books, presided over more than 10 scientific research projects at provincial and municipal levels within 5 years, and published more than 80 academic papers as the first author or correspondent author, and served as editorial board member and reviewer of several magazines such as Chinese nursing management, Chinese Nursing Education, journal of nursing science and Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing. She had won many honors such as advanced typical individual, advanced individual against epidemic disease, excellent tutor, excellent editorial board of National Health and Health Commission, as well as prizes from Hunan Science and Technology Progress Award, Hunan Medical Association and Hunan Medical Association.
