Peng Xiao, member of the Communist Party of China, associate professor of nursing of the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, nurse in charge of cardiothoracic surgery department, master's supervisor. She has long been engaged in research on perioperative nursing of cardiopulmonary bypass, rapid rehabilitation after thoracic tumor operation and emergency nursing of thoracic trauma. She studied thoracic surgery at Stanford University School of medicine for half a year, went to Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai and other places for Discipline exchanges, and spoke at many academic conferences inside and outside Hunan Province. Peng Xiao published many professional papers as the first author, presided over one project of the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and obtained two utility model patents.
