Jun Lei is a professor of Xiangya School of Nursing at Central South University and the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, director of Human Resource Department of the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. Her research interests include obstetrics and gynecology nursing, elderly care and nursing informatics research. Prof. Lei was a visiting scholar at the General Hospital of University of Ottawa. Prof. Lei is the vice chairman of the Chinese Medical Informatics Association’s Committee of Nursing Informatics, vice chairman of Health Care Standardization Committee of Nursing Society, member of the Committee for Nursing Science of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, vice chairman of the Committee of Community Nursing for Hunan Nursing Association and vice chairman of the Committee for Evidence-based Nursing for Hunan Medical Science and Technology Education Association. Dr. Lei is the obstetrics and gynecology nursing academic leader of "Hunan 225 high-level health personnel" Project and a member of the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing. She has been engaged in improving women health and developing Infertility Stigma Scale for Chinese women. Dr. Lei has published over 80 papers and 14 books.
