BIO


Qin Wang is an Associate Dean of the Department of Nursing of the Second Xiangya Hospital, Associate Professor of Xiangya Nursing School, Central South University. She focuses on the ophthalmic disease nursing, chronic disease management and nursing management. Professor Wang is a young member of the Ophthalmology Nursing Professional Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, the chairman of the Hunan Provincial Nursing Society’s Ophthalmology Professional Committee, the deputy chairman of the Humane Nursing Professional Committee, and the deputy leader of the ophthalmology nursing group of the Ophthalmology Professional Committee of Hunan Medical Association, Hunan Province Head of the Ophthalmology Group of the Five Senses Professional Committee of the Nursing Society. She is also the Deputy Group Leader of the Ophthalmology Nursing and Specialty Construction Group of the Hunan Province Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Ophthalmology Professional Committee, Standing Committee Member of the Nursing Expert Committee of the Department of Simulation Medicine of Jieping Wu Medical Foundation, Hunan Mental Health An expert member of the Association’s Doctor-patient Communication Professional Committee, and an editorial board member of “Journal of Xiangya Nursing.” She has published more than ten academic papers, among which 2 are indexed in SCI journals and 4 are CSCD journal indexes. She has supervised and participated in 8 research projects funded by domestic funds. She is the editor-in-chief and associate editor of 4 monographs, and participated in compiling the textbooks and other books of the National Higher Education Undergraduate Nursing Students’“14th Five-Year Plan”. Professor Wang has obtained 8 utility model patents, and has recently won the first prize of medical technology in the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University.
