Deng Lu is the deputy director of clinical Teaching and Research department of The Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, and a lecturer of Xiangya Nursing School of Central South University. Dr. Deng had been engaged in operating room nursing for nearly 20 years. She used to be the head nurse of the operating room of The Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University and the theoretical teacher of specific nurse training in Operating room in Hunan province. Dr. Deng has rich experience in clinical nursing, emergency and critical care and nursing management. She has trained more than ten nursing graduate students. Dr. Deng published 14 academic papers, and presided 3 domestic and foreign research projects and participated in 1. Dr. Deng has co-edited 3 textbooks, including Specific Nursing in operating room. She is the reviewer of Xiangya Nursing Journal and other magazines. She is the vice Chairman of the Education Committee of Nursing Association in Hunan Province，and the deputy Vice Chairman of Provincial Nursing Equipment and Materials Branch in Hunan Province.
