BIO


Yang Luo is an Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Department dean of Xiangya School of Nursing at Central South University. Instructor for the postgraduate courses of Women's Health, Advanced Clinical Care Nursing; Instructor for undergraduate courses of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Midwifery, Surgical Nursing,Medical Sociology,Accident Frst Aid and Safety Education. Instructor for doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate students in theoretical and practical teaching activities. Maternal psychology, women's reproductive health, nursing education issues. Published over 118 papers as first author and corresponding author, including 14 papers published by SCI and EI journal. Rewarded 6 national utility model patents.  Presided 23 research projects,including 1 National Natural Science Foundation programs, 1 Natural Science Foundation program of Hunan Province, 5 research projects of Hunan Provincal Science ; 60 graduate students had been supervised, four doctoral candidate and ten postgraduate students are currently being supervised. Dr. Liu has spoken at more than two academic conferences at home and abroad.

As member of National Higher Education School's Midwifery Teaching material Construction Committee, Hunan Provincial Committee for Promoting Natural Childbirth and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Hunan Nursing Institute. As core reviewer of the Chinese Modern Nursing Journal.Director of Hunan Women and Children’s Health Promotion and Rights Protection Research Center, the Policy of Gender Equality and Consulting Expert Committee of Hunan province, the ministry of Education Fund Project evaluation experts, the ministry of Education Degree Thesis evaluation experts, National Social Science Fund of peer review experts, the National Professional Committee,evaluation expert of Natural Science Foundation of Hunan, Beijing and Zhejiang.
