Program Description
Nursing is a comprehensive and practical First-level Medical Discipline with independent knowledge and theoretical system under the guidance of natural science and social science.
There are six national university-level and provincial research centers, focusing on public health nursing and disease prevention and control, geriatric nursing and chronic disease management, mental health and psychological nursing, clinical nursing theory and technology, nursing management theory and practice, nursing ethics and rule of law.

Training Mode
Implement the guidance group training work system under the responsibility of the mentor. The mentor is the chief instructor of the graduate student, and other members in the guidance group should assist the mentor in the graduate student training.
Mentors guide graduate students to formulate personal training plans, select courses, search and read literature, participate in academic exchanges and social practice, determine research topics, and conduct scientific research.
Academic Seminars and Academic Exchanges
Academic exchanges and seminars are compulsory for all master students. Master students are required to complete a certain number of academic reports to obtain corresponding credits.
At least one presentation should be given at the academic conference organized by the school; Make academic report at least once at the academic meeting of the discipline organization.
At least 6 academic exchange and report conferences of all levels in this discipline and related disciplines.
Research Proposal Defense
Master's students are required to make dissertation proposal reports, under the guidance of the mentor, the graduate students should determine the research topic of the research project in the first academic year and complete a systematic review before the research proposal defense.
Scientific Research Training, Professional Practice, and Social Practice
Scientific research training is a compulsory part for graduate students of academic degree, requiring at least hosting or participating in one scientific research project.
Professional practice is a required part of nursing graduate students:
Clinical practice will be arranged for 6 months in the second academic year.
Clinical practice: select intensive care units or a specialized wards with a high-quality nursing mode.
Community practice: mainly engaged in community practice teaching and scientific research.
Social practice is a compulsory part for all master's students.
