Dean Mercy Pindani and Associate Professor Diana Linda from the University of Malawi were Invited to Visit our School

On December 5th in 2018, Mercy Pindani, Associate Professor in Community Health Nursing and the Dean of of Kamusu College of Nursing (KCN) of University of Malawi and Diana Linda, Associate Professor of the Community and Mental Health Department were invited to visit Xiangya School of Nursing Central South University.

At 12pm in Class 457 of Xiaoqian Building, Mercy Pindani and Diana Linda addressed the master and doctoral students of our school on the status quo of Malawi's health service system and the challenges it faced. The lecture was presided over by Wang Honghong, Associate Dean of Xiangya School of Nursing. First of all, Mercy Pindani and Diana Linda expressed how honored they felt for being invited to Xiangya School of Nursing for academic exchange. Next, Diana Linda elaborated on the status quo of Malawi's health service system and the challenges it faced. She introduced to the audience the geography and national realities of Malawi, the achievements as well as the existing problems in the field of health care, different levels of Malawis health care system and relevant laws. Throughout the lecture,  Mercy Pindani paid special attention to the parts where her audience may feel puzzled.
