Professor Robin Whittemore from Yale University Came to Work in Our School Again for a Short Time

Professor Robin Whittemore, director of the Doctoral Research program at Yale University Nursing School, has been invited by Central South University to work in the our nursing school for a short period of time. This is the second time since last November that Whittemore has worked in our school for a short time. On the morning of March 7, 2016, secretary Associate Professor Luo Junfei, dean Professor Tang Siyuan, deputy dean Professor Wang Honghong, deputy dean Associate Professor Li Xianhong, teacher Yang Min, and teacher Guo Jia met with Professor Whittemore formally.

Over the next two weeks, Professor Whittemore will continue to teach our doctoral students his "Theoretical Basis for Nursing Science” and teach our foreign students his "Systematic Evaluation". He will also work with international students to work on their academic dissertations. Meanwhile, Professor Robin Whittmore will also have a talk with diabetes care experts from Central South University, visit Xiangya Hospital of Central South University and give an academic report next week.

Professor Robin Whittemore's work in our school will end on March 18th, successfully completing all the contents of this year's "Intelligence Introduction" project. Her visit will promote the quality of doctoral students and foreign graduate students in our school to a higher level, and also strengthen the communication and cooperation between the two schools in the direction of diabetes prevention and control. Professor Whittemore was also impressed by the training of postgraduates, the achievements of scientific research and the positive attitude of students and teachers in our school. She hopes to keep in touch in the future and seek opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and teaching.
