Ms. Renu Dahal, Mayor of Bharatpur, met with the delegation and attended the signing ceremony.

The delegation was also invited to visit the Nursing Institute of Nepal. Professor Tara Pokharel, president of the Association, expressed her sincere gratitude to Central South University for its great contribution to nursing in Nepal, and sent a letter of thanks, hoping that the two sides would continue to strengthen their cooperation. In the Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal, Ms. Padma Kumari Aryal, the Minister, met with the delegation and listened to the implementation of the Master of Nursing Training Program undertaken by the Ministry of Commerce and reached a clear intention to carry out in-depth cooperation. The Honourable Krishma Bahadur Mahara, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal, met the delegation at his official residence. He expressed special affection for China and Chairman Mao Zedong and noted that he had been concerned about President Xi Jinping's policies on governance. He especially welcomed the friendly exchanges between Central South University in Chairman Mao's hometown of Hunan province and Nepal and hoped to have the opportunity to visit the university. In view of the friendly exchange and cooperation between the university and Nepal, the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Office of the Embassy of Nepal expresses that it will continue to support the enrollment of our foreign aid training program and hopes that more relevant Nepalese practitioners will come to study in our school.

It is reported that with the strong support of the Nepalese government, there are currently 44 Nepalese international students studying in our school, including 32 students of the Advanced Nursing Master Program and their performance is excellent.

The visit was a complete success and the talks were fruitful. The cooperation between Central South University and the Nepalese government will go deeper.
