Good News! Students from Xiangya Nursing School Won the Highest Award in the National Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Comprehensive Skills Invitational Competition

On April 28, 2019, the "Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Comprehensive Skills Invitational Competition" sponsored by the Nursing Teaching Steering Committee of Higher Education institutions of the Ministry of Education was held in Shanghai, aiming at comprehensively improving the comprehensive quality and talent cultivation quality of nursing undergraduates. The competition is divided into preliminary and final competitions. The events in the preliminary competition include intravenous infusion, wound dressing, and vital signs monitoring. The events in the final competition include oxygen injection, blood drawing, sputum aspiration, defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Finally a total of nine, including Central South University Xiangya Nursing School, units, led by Xiangya Nursing School leader Wang Honghong, Wang Renlonog, Chen Xia and Huang Ruoxi from class of 2015 nursing got in the final with a solid theoretical knowledge and clinical nursing skills, stood out, and won the highest award. There are three first prizes and six second prizes in this competition.
