Professor Jyu-Lin Chen from UCSF is Hired as A Visiting Professor at Central South University

On the afternoon of June 12, 2019, Xiangya Nursing School of Central South University held the guest professor awarding ceremony in conference room 714, and invited Professor Jyu-Lin Chen of UCSF to be the visiting professor of Central South University. Secretary Li Tao, Dean Tang Siyuan, Director of General Office Yao Juqin, Director of Global Affairs Guo Jia and all the students of the nursing master class jointly run by Central South University and University of California, San Francisco attended the guest professor awarding ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Guo Jia.

Professor Catherine Waters and Professor James Wiley from UCSF also witnessed this important ceremony.

Professor Jyu-Lin Chen's visit also included a lecture on evidence-based nursing for the Master of Nursing program jointly run by Central South University and UCSF.

Professor Jyu-Lin Chen, fellow of the American School of Nursing Sciences (FAAN), is the Director of the Doctoral Program at UCSF School of Nursing. He has been in charge of more than 10 projects and published more than 40 high-level academic papers. In 2016, he was awarded the title of "Best Tutor" and National Senior Researcher by UCSF. Professor Jyu-Lin Chen has maintained a friendly and cooperative relationship with Xiangya Nursing School for many years in terms of teaching, personnel training, scientific research cooperation and academic exchange. With solid foundation of cooperation, she has made great contributions to the development of nursing discipline of Central South University.
