From June 2 to 7, Professor Linda France Honan, academician of the American School of Nursing (FAAN) and Associate Director of the Cross-disciplinary Longitudinal Clinical Experience Course of the Yale School of Nursing, visited our school for a week-long academic exchange and visit.

On the morning of June 3rd, Professor Linda France Honan's visit was held in conference room 711 of Xiangya Nursing School. At the meeting, Deputy Dean Of Xiangya Nursing School Chen Jia welcomed Professor Linda France Honan on behalf of the school and introduced the education and teaching of Xiangya Nursing School.

Then, the two sides exchanged experience and discussed cooperation on issues related to nursing education and teaching.

On the afternoon of June 5, Professor Linda gave a lecture entitled "Heart Examination" to the 2017 undergraduates of Xiangya Nursing School.

Professor Linda also gave an academic lecture entitled "Learning Nursing and the Implications for Educators" to both teachers and students of our university, and put forward her own views on how to become a better nursing educator and nursing educator.
