Due to the needs of scientific research, the research team of geriatric nursing and community chronic disease management of Xiangya Nursing School of Central South University has publicly recruited 2-3 scientific research assistant posts. The announcement is as follows.

1. Job responsibilities

I. Assist the person in charge of the project (subject) to declare the scientific research project (subject), follow up the management of the whole process, and provide refined, scientific and professional services for the project (subject) team;

II. To be responsible for the rationality of the financial research projects, and to improve the efficiency of the financial research projects according to the laws and regulations of the state;

III. Assist the research team in handling and submitting daily paperwork related to teaching and scientific research.

2. Recruitment requirements

I. Major: nursing and related disciplines;

II. Education background: Bachelor degree or above;

III.  Be honest, motivated, with a good sense of responsibility and teamwork ability;

IV. Good communication skills, fluent English reading and writing skills;

V. Good scientific research background and  those who been engaged in related fields is preferred.

3. Job treatment

I. The research assistant shall sign a 1-2 year full-time labor contract with the university, which shall be incorporated into the non-institution personnel management of the University；

II. The salary of the recruited personnel is negotiable, insurance and other benefits shall be implemented in accordance with the “Interim Measures for the Management of Non-institutional Staff of Central South University” and relevant policies of the University；

III. Outstanding personnel can continue their doctoral and postdoctoral studies in the team.

The team has more than 40 postgraduate students, with national and provincial key research and development projects as the core, and has undertaken more than 10 national and provincial projects in the past five years. The core team members are as follows:

Tang Siyuan, M.D., Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Medicine，Second-level Professor, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Supervisor，Dean of Xiangya School of Nursing, Central South University；Major research areas:  Community Healthcare, Chronic Diseases Nursing. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 150 academic research papers on domestic and foreign core journals and obtained 5 national patents; presided over 16 projects at provincial level; won 1 second prize of Hunan natural science award, 3 third prizes of Hunan science and technology progress award, 3 third prizes of Hunan medical science and technology, and 1 first prize of teaching achievement of Central South University.

Feng Hui, Medical doctor，Ph.D Supervisor，Professor，Director of Xiangya-Oceanwide Health Management Research Institute of Central South university, Director of Health Care Research Center, Central South University, and PI of the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases (Xiangya Hospital). In the past five years, Feng has presided over and undertaken 7 national scientific research projects, 5 international cooperative scientific research projects, presided over more than 10 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, more than 30 latitudinal  scientific research projects, and published more than 50 core papers, including 20 SCI papers.

Minhui Liu,  Male, Specially-appointed Associate Professor of Central South University, postdoctoral fellow and Director of the International Visiting Scholars Program at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Liu has long been engaged in research on health promotion, evidence-based exercise and behavioral programs for older adults and has been committed to developing innovative care programs for the Chinese older adults, reducing disability and improving their quality of life.

Guo Zhirui, Specially-appointed Professor of Central South University, Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics, Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Medicine, and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, UK. Guo has published more than 200 articles in foreign core journals, focusing on prevention and treatment of dementia and osteoporosis, nutrition for the elderly, etc.
