In order to implement the cooperation agreement between Central South University and Flinders University in Australia, and further promote the cooperation in the field of scientific research and talent training, Xiang Ya Nursing School of Central South University and School of Nursing and Midwifery of Flinders University set up a research Seed Fund. In accordance with relevant provisions of the Initiation of the Seed Fund of Central South University-Flinders University ([2020] No. 1), Central South University-Flinders University Seed Fund Project in 2020 is now being initiated. Relevant matters are notified as follows:
1. Seed Fund Project and Funding Limit
In 2020, 2-3 open research projects are planned to be funded, the project implementation lasts for 2 years, and each open research project is funded 50,000-100,000 yuan.
2.Applicant Qualifications
The applicant shall love the socialist motherland and support the leadership of the Communist Party of China; strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, have a rigorous academic attitude, good ideological and academic morals, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Applicants shall be in-service teachers with the title of deputy senior professional post and above at Xiang Ya Nursing School and affiliated hospitals, and invite teachers (at least 1) of the School of Nursing and Midwifery of Flinders University in Australia as joint applicants for the project at the same time.
3.Review Procedures
The projects will be reviewed by experts under the uniform organization by Xiang Ya Nursing School, and will be reviewed and approved by the Professor Committee of the school and the Party-Government Meeting.
4.Application Date
The application date of the Seed Fund in 2020 is from March 1st to March 31st; the results are planned to be announced at the end of April.
5.Funding Direction
The research direction in 2020 mainly focuses on elderly care and chronic disease management. Applicants can choose relevant content for application according to their own research directions and interests (the application project should be self-named, and the name should be targeted):
(1) Research on the Model and Technology of Continuous Care for Elderly Patients;
(2) Research on Methods and Technology of Health Education and Health Promotion for the Elderly;
(3) Research on the Training Model of Elderly Nursing Talents;
(4) Research on the Technology and Service Model of "Internet+Long-term Care for the Elderly".
6.Project Completion
The Seed Fund project shall be completed according to the prescribed date. At the time of completion, there must be scientific research results closely related to the Seed Fund project.
Specific Requirements:
(1) For each project, at least one high-level SCI paper should be published;
(2) During the project implementation period or at the end of the project, one or more national or international cooperation project should be successfully applied with the help of Seed Fund Project.
7.Other Matters
A. In principle, the same person cannot apply for the Seed Fund project and the Training Program of High-level Scientific Research of Xiang Ya Nursing Subject in the same year.
B. To apply for the open research fund, the applicants shall fill in the “Form of Application for Open Projects of Central South University-Flinders University Seed Fund Project” in accordance with the requirements. The paper copy of the application form should be submitted to the Room 629 of Xiang Ya Nursing School in triplicate.
