At 10:00 am on April 15th in 2018, “Fostering a Healthy China and Healthy Hunan”, one of the science popularization events organized by Chinese Nursing Association to celebrate the International Nurses Day of 2018, was held in Hunan Science and Technology Museum. The participants in this first-aid science popularization event are as follows: Health Education Center of Central South University (hereinafter referred to as HEC), Central South University Xiangya Hospital, the Second Xiangya Hospital, the Third Xiangya Hospital, Hunan Cancer Hospital, Hunan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Hunan Children's Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, and the Postgraduate Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. Leaders of HEC who attend the event included Yuan Shiping, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the Xiangya School of Nursing of Central South University and Wang Xin, head of HEC.
Before the start of the event, in order to further ensure the professionalism and accuracy of the medical knowledge to be popularized, Li Yinglan, Deputy Director of the 27th Council of the Chinese Nursing Association and head of the Nursing Department of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, carried out training related to first aid theory for participants, including basic first aid knowledge for residents, the life chain inside and outside the hospital, theoretical knowledge of CPR, etc.
