Chronic diseases affecting elderly people, health services research, nutrition epidemiology, quality of life issues at the end of life.
Research Profile
Using data from various longitudinal cohorts, the impact of lifestyle and environmental factors on incident chronic diseases (in particular osteoporosis) and geriatric syndromes (Cognitive impairment, falls, frailty, sarcopenia) have been studied. A large group of studies are related to the topic of ageing well and how personal and environmental factors affect this process.
