Mei Sun, PhD, associate professor, master supervisor, deputy director of foreign cooperation and exchange center of Xiangya nursing school, Central South University.

Her main research directions are community-based mental health related research, especially focusing on women's and children's mental health, such as community screening and intervention of perinatal women's mental health and postpartum depression; research on mental health and social adaptation of migrant women; research on coping with and difficulties of left behind children in Western Hunan; intimate relationship violence among women; and the quality of life of autistic child caregivers , etc. She has published more than 30 academic peer-reviewed papers, including 12 papers been in SCI (EI) journals as the first author or corresponding author.
