Guo Jia, RN, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Young Talents of Hunan Province,Director of International cooperation and exchanges center. Dr. Guo's research focuses on the prevention and management of chronic diseases. She received doctoral program training at Yale University, then postdoctoral research training at University of California, San Francisco. She has been working as the principal investigator of many international and national grants, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Medical Board Open Competition grant of the US, and the UCSF seed grants. As the independent first author or corresponding author, she has published 28 peer-reviewed papers, including 14 papers cited in Science Citation Index (SCI). As the first author, she has granted 5 patents utility model.Dr. Guo is the deputy director of the Evidence Based Nursing Committee of Hunan Province Medical Education Technology Association and Nursing Committee of the China Alliance for Type 1 Diabetes. She actively works as the reviewer for Research Grants of Diabetes UK, Journal of Clinical Nursing, and Journal of Advanced Nursing.
