At 12:30 on November 6th, the fifth academic lecture in the fall of 2020 was successfully held in the form of online broadcast of Tencent conference. The lecture was given by Li Hongzhan, a teacher from the School of Nursing, Guangxi Medical University.

Li Hongzhan gave a wonderful course sharing with the theme of “Psychological Adjustment of nursing graduate students”. For her classmates, she analyzed the sources of stress for nursing graduate students, such as pressure from study, emotion, family, age, future job confusion, etc., which may have negative physical, psychological, and even emotional effects on individuals.  Li encouraged students to adjust their pressure through three steps of cognitive adjustment, namely, A (Antecedent), B (Belief) and C (Consequence).

Finally,  Li patiently answered the students’ confusion about the psychological problems they faced in their lives, and proposed that students should automatically adjust and improve their psychological cognition, so as to relieve the psychological pressure. In the face of negative emotions, students can adopt aversion therapy and shift their attention.
