Guo Jia of Xiangya Nursing School Overcame the Difficulties to Develop the MOOC Course of COVID-19 and Its Nursing

Recently, relying on the online MOOC of Medical Nursing of Central South University, the Micro course "COVID-19 and Nursing" of Xiangya Nursing School has been recommended by the MOOC "Love in Courses" website of Chinese universities. As of February 27, 2020, the number of online students has reached 19,204.


With the support of Professor Zhang Jingping, the course leader of Internal Nursing, Li Tao, the Party Secretary of the school, and Tang Siyuan, the Dean of the school, Guo Jia engaged in the course development of COVID-19 and Its Nursing.




Guo Jia, PhD trained by Central South University and Yale University, postdoctoral student of health policy major at UCSF with health policy postdoctoral degree, associate professor, master tutor, Hunan young talent, Director of the school’s Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Center, hosted the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the CMB OC projects and provincial scientific research projects, published 34 high level papers as the first author or corresponding author, and brought home the patent for utility model as the first inventor and five authorizations.
